Bonanza began services out of Las Vegas in 1945 with a humble little Cessna T-50 and connected the cities of Hawthorne, Tonopah, Reno, and Las Vegas. As it grew, Bonanza merged with other carriers to form Air West. Air West would eventualy be renamed Hughes Air West.
