This Document holder is made in A&S's classic Natural box leather. The design mocks a clear plastic file -like appearance, that is made to fit A4-sized documents. The beautiful cowhide leather shows the characteristics of the raw hides and the more you use the file the more the leather shows the rich changes in texture and expression. The folder is made with a single piece of leather. The back side is ironed to reduce shedding and is finished to a clean surface. On the front side the file is engraved with the ARTS&SCIENCE logo.

The leather is tanned using the Vachetta method* by a long-established Italian tannery. It has a natural finish with just the right amount of oil.The more the leather is used, the richer expression the texture develops, in which the individuality of the raw hides can be seen.

*Vachetta method is a traditional Italian tanning way having been used for more than 1,000 years. The process is slowly tanned with vegetable tannin and then carefully greased with beef leg oil.
